Pivotal Weekend for the Future of Red Cherry Alley

This weekend is a pivotal one for the future of Red Cherry Alley, and we’re thrilled to share what’s in store!

🎤 Friday, July 12: Join us for a very special performance on our mini stage. Our magazine founder and

circulation manager, Dangerous Doug Harper, will be performing the Intimate Songwriter Performance Series

at the Nevada Tobacco and C-Store next door to the alley at 8pm. This is the event that Doug has worked tirelessly

to make happen for 30 years. We may not have the big stage in the alley completed yet, but the vibe is exactly

where it’s supposed to be. Doug has designed his show to fit on any stage, big or small, and he’s ready to prove

how great the show can work on our stage, just as he did recently at Caplinger Mills.

Doug’s energy is at an all-time high, thanks to becoming a TapTunes artist, the release of “The Very Best of

Dangerous Doug Harper” on Tap Tunes Music Cards, the digital release of his “Fresh!, New!, Now! EP”, and

the making and release of his new 11-song album “Spring Break” (currently available on CD only). His music is

breaking molds and reaching new heights, with “I’m a Gamer” getting on game store playlists in 6 states, “On

Jefferson Highway” reaching the national Jefferson Highway Association conference, “Somehow the Future”

becoming an anthem of a generation, and “You Know the Rules (EDM Version)” being tied up in a screenplay

and story and hopefully on a soundtrack in the future.

🎳 Saturday, July 13: We’re co-hosting the much-anticipated Local Ear Songwriter Mega Bowl at the Missouri

Recital Hall on the Cottey College Campus. This event is not just a music event, it’s a platform for local talent to

shine and a testament to the thriving music scene in Nevada and the surrounding Vernon County area.

Our songwriters will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity and musical prowess, connecting with a

supportive community of music lovers. This is a celebration of music and community that you won’t want to miss!

Ensure your spot at this musical extravaganza by RSVPing in advance. Contact Doug Harper at 417-321-6254 or

send a message on Facebook. Businesses reserving 4 or more seats will be mentioned on the back of the program

in the ‘Thank You and Supported By’ section. Show your support for local talent and the community, and gain

visibility among a passionate and engaged audience.

Tickets are available for a donation of $10 each at the door. All proceeds will go towards the Red Cherry Alley

project, a local initiative that underscores our commitment to fostering arts and culture.

We understand that not everyone will be able to join us in person for our big weekend. But that doesn’t mean you

can’t be a part of the excitement and support the Red Cherry Alley project! We’re thrilled to announce the

availability of “In Spirit” tickets. These special tickets are for those who won’t be able to attend the events but

still want to contribute and be there in spirit. By purchasing an “In Spirit” ticket, you’ll be making a donation to

the Red Cherry Alley project. And as a token of our appreciation, we’ll send you a physical ticket as a keepsake.

This ticket won’t grant admission to the events, but it will serve as a cool memento of your support for our cause.

Join us for a weekend of music, community, and fun. Let’s make this weekend a game-changer for Red Cherry Alley! 🍒🎶 Online payment @ pay.redcherryalley.com
