It is Monday and nothing ever happens on a Monday, though today I have play practice. I will be running the sound, or helping anyways, for the upcoming production of "Crimes of the Heart" that will be at the C.C.P.A.'s Fox Theater Playhouse. It will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday both this weekend and next so you should probably get out and support the arts. the weekend was fun I headed down to Springfield to perform at the Nathan P. Murphy night club. Also took a turn playing songs on Saturday at the Holiday Music on the Square.

Well it has been a long while since it all began for me in 1993. I was writing songs performing for friends and making recordings with a great big hope to make a go of it. Now the future is here. Come see and hear me play on "Future Day" ~ 4-8pm at the Family Video in Nevada, Missouri on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. The event will be a blast of 80's, 90's and "Future Hits". Hope Mike FM shows up!

Yes words put with the mission. Murphy's Grill is doing just that, hosting live music events, but not just that, also with a cause. Currently through the month of October Murphy's is celebrating Food Drive Friday and collecting food donations for the CCON food pantry. So far the effort is going well. This weekend there will be another Friday and feature live music from the brand NEW band "Escalators" with opening act Dangerous Doug Harper. See you friday from 7-10 P.M. at Murphy's Grill in Nevada, Missouri, located across the street from the Woods Supermarket.

Well thanks to everyone reading the blog! Love to see that we are reching Ukraine. Though our local music scene is a long was for folks from there to travel to see the music, we would love to have people pouring into Nevada, Missouri to see the live music here, just like Branson, yeah we're "Little Branson".

Hello all, things are going really strong around here lately, with lots of events cropping up. Though I figure I push the promotion at you so much, I want to take just a minute to thank you all for coming to the events, spreading the word, and really getting involved in the local Art, Music, and Lit scene. This year, 2015, has be record attendance on average fro every show this year, and over all attendance is us aprox. 12% at the music shows. We have also seen a large movement of interest in Art in our area, and look to see more of the local writers getting more exposure coming soon. So please keep tuned in, and if there is somewhere you would like to see us posting event information to help you be able to get notified, please let me know so I can make arrangements to make it happen if at all possible. Announcing NEW Shows at Murphy's Grill in Nevada Missouri. So far every live music event that has happened there has been an over the top sucsess so now we are ready to announce the days for the October 2015 shows! Yep that is right.... SHOWS! There will be two event s held in October and they will be on Friday October 16th, and Wednesday October 28th. The performers will be announced soon, and as always Dangerous Doug Harper is the opening act! More details in the next few days, but go ahead and mark your calendars now! See ya soon!
